OOTD: Culture Vault

Hello Lovelies

Last week I spent most of my time back in Liverpool. Liverpool is my city simply because I went to uni there and I met some of the most amazing people there. Going back was different, it felt strange and I could tell that I’ve grown up. When I graduated last year I didn’t want to leave you should have seen me, fast forward 9 months later and I’m happier and wiser.
So Why did I go to Liverpool then? Two reasons. I was asked to be part of an annual show hosted by the African Caribbean society called the culture vault. I also arranged a Tiwi’s Closet photoshoot in Liverpool     (big shout out to all my lovely models who braved the cold wind at the Albert Docks).
Today I’ll be sharing what I wore for the main event. It is an African print 1950s inspired dress that my friend’s mum had made for me ( Thank you Veve and auntie ) . I paired it with my orange low heel shoes from ASOS and my statement crocodile earrings from ASOS as well. I got to try out one of my new lipsticks. It’s called Relentlessly red by MAC. I’m trying new things this year especially with shoes hence the low heel.
Excuse the messy background.

Happy Monday every one. I hope you have a productive week . Be inspired to try more African print.
